In this three day hands-on workshop, you learn the concepts and techniques required to use the IBM Rational Rhapsody Unified Profile for MODAF and DoDAF as applied to DoDAF (UPDM for DoDAF) to solve complex system engineering problems. Rhapsody's graphical modeling capabilities are a proven solution to easing modeling and requirements validation burdens found in traditional system analysis and design efforts. By creating the complete architectural framework using Rational Rhapsody with the UPDM profile, significant class time is spent while you develop the capability, service and system views.
Målgruppe
This course is for Project Managers, Technical Leads, Software Engineers, Software-level system Engineers.
Forkunnskaper
You should have knowledge of DODAF, and some familiarity of systems modeling using Rational Rhapsody is necessary.
Mål
- Define DoDAF viewpoints and build diagrams
- Learn the Rhapsody DoDAF product in the context of a system engineering process flow
- Optimize model organization for collaboration across system engineering teams
- Automatically produce DoDAF documentation, including the creation of the 'derived' architecture products
