This is the Classroom version of Instructor-led Online course (3T171NO).
This course is designed to teach attendees how to use Optim Designer V2.2.3 and Optim Manager V2.2.3. Students taking this course must have taken the course, Using Optim Test Data Mgmt with Data Masking Option on Dist Systems (DT213) (3T213), Using InfoSphere Optim Core Technology on Dist Systems (DT293) (3T293), or the equivalent web based or self-paced virtual online course or have the prerequisite knowledge prior to taking this course.
IBM Optim Designer is the standard, Eclipse-based GUI for all InfoSphere Optim (distributed) V8.1. In this course, you will learn how to setup the Optim Manager; learn how to use the Optim Designer objects necessary to support test data management objectives; and how to create and execute Optim Services.
You will create a right-sized privatized test environment from production with subsetting criteria and applied data privacy policies to de-identify and protect sensitive data. Finally, you will learn how to use Optim Manager to execute and manage Optim distributed requests as services.

- Discuss basic relational database concepts and objects such as tables, indexes, views and joins
