IBM Cognos BI: Combined Administration, Architecture, and Logging (V10.2) is a five-day, instructor-led course that is designed to teach new administrators the fundamental tasks of administering servers and content in IBM Cognos BI. Students will also identify components and sub-components of the IBM Cognos BI architecture and learn how to use tools and techniques to provide a foundation to troubleshoot issues. Through a combination of lectures and interactive exercises, students will install and configure the IBM Cognos BI software, implement security, and manage the server components. Students will also monitor and schedule tasks, create data sources, manage and deploy content, manage report content in IBM Cognos Connection, examine how BI Cognos components interact with Java, and will explore logging to assist when troubleshooting issues.
This intermediate course is intended for Administrators responsible for administering the IBM Cognos 10.2 BI environment.
