This course provides a comprehensive introduction to WebSphere Application Server Version 7.0 on the IBM i platform. It includes lectures and hands on lab exercises enabling you to create, configure, and manage your Web application environment. Topics include Java EE and WebSphere Application Server basic concepts, administration and analysis tools, deploying applications, problem determination, performance analysis, security, WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment basics, and backup and recovery.
This course uses WebSphere Application Server V7.0 on the IBM i platform. For education on Websphere Application Server V6.1 on the IBM i platform, refer to AS94.
This course provides lectures and hands on labs in a face-to-face classroom setting. This course is also offered in a live virtual classroom environment (ILO - Instructor Led Online) with hands-on labs: IBM WebSphere Application Server V7.0 for IBM i Administration - ILO (OV900).
