Kurs informasjon: AIX TCPIP Performance Analysis and Tuning (D-ILO)

This is a live, instructor-led online course. Do not make arrangements to travel.

The goal of this course is to provide the student with the knowledge and skills required to identify, measure, analyze, and tune common TCP/IP network associated performance problems. The course will cover the network components that affect network performance, tools used to monitor, identify and analyze network performance problems and some common tuning best practices.

This course uses a combination of instructor lecture and demonstrations to provide the student with practical background knowledge of the topics covered.

Note: This is an instructor-led virtual classroom course with instructor-led demonstrations.

This intermediate course is for support individuals, AIX developers, AIX system administrators, system architects and engineers, and product engineers who want to understand how to analyze and tune AIX TCP/IP network performance problems.

You should normally have:

• Basic knowledge regarding AIX installation, startup, and shutdown
• Basic knowledge regarding use of HMC V7 to manage AIX partitions, such as that taught in the following course:
  • Power Systems for AIX I: LPAR Configuration and Planning (AX110)

• OR knowledge gained from equivalent experience

• Basic AIX network configuration and management, such as that taught in the following course:
  • TCP/IP for AIX Administrators (AN21) or TCP/IP for AIX Administrators Instructor-led Online (AX21)

• OR knowledge gained from equivalent experience
