This course is designed to teach you how to use Optim V8.1, Optim Designer V2.2.3, and Optim Manager V2.2.3. This course provides both a conceptual understanding of data masking and test data management as well as the Optim Solution's capabilities for implementing test data management and de-identifying data for privacy protection and supporting compliance initiatives for critical business applications. This course serves as a foundation for the Optim solution's business value, features, and functionality.

This course focuses on the technical aspects of the Optim Solution and is intended for technical audiences. The focus of the course is hands-on experience building relational intact subsets of non-privatized and/or privatized data and creating Optim Primary Keys and Optim relationships which permit cross database extraction of data. You will learn how to setup the Optim Manager; learn how to use the Optim Designer objects necessary to support test data management objectives; and how to create and execute Optim Services. You will learn the basics of how the technology works through hands-on practice and how to apply the technology to business scenarios.
