Learn about the Business Glossary component of the 8.2 version of Information Server. Students will be given a brief introduction in the various types of metadata, with a focus on business metadata. An overview of how the Business Glossary fits into the InfoSphere Information Server landscape will be discussed leading to task oriented exercises. Structure, administration, user roles, glossary population and the linking of related IT assets will be explored. Primarily intended for business users, developers will also benefit from an understanding of the Business Glossary.
