This eLearning offering is a multimedia vignette, and is a collection of presentations and product demonstrations that introduce you to the features and capabilities of an IBM Cognos application. Using video and audio, each multimedia demonstration within the vignette shows you how to perform an essential task using an IBM Cognos application.
Introduction to IBM SPSS Monte Carlo Simulation (V21) is a recorded course that teaches customers, who are familiar with IBM® SPSS® Statistics, how to create, edit, and run simulations using the IBM® SPSS® Statistics Simulations procedure. Specifically, customers will learn about Monte Carlo simulations, how they work and some of their advantages over single-point estimate models. Customers will also learn how use the simulation builder, so that simulations can be built either by using historical data or theoretical equations. Finally, customers will learn how to use the run simulation dialog, so they can edit and run previously built simulations.

You should have:
- General computer literacy.
- Completion of the course "Introduction to Statistical Analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics" or completion of at least one introductory level course in statistics or experience with IBM SPSS Statistics including familiarity with analyzing data.
