Learn how to administer the Tivoli Enterprise Portal. Tivoli Enterprise Portal is used by IBM Tivoli Monitoring, IBM Tivoli Composite Application Manager, and OMEGAMON XE and DE to manage your enterprise environment. You will learn about creating queries, links, situations (enterprise and private), agent autonomy, policies, commands, agentless monitoring, and event integration with Netcool/OMNIbus and Tivoli Enterprise Console.
Audience
This intermediate level course is for System administrators responsible for setting up workspaces, situations, monitoring agents, automation, and integration of the Tivoli Enterprise Portal. Deployment specialists will also benefit from this course.
Pre-requisites
You should have:
- Working knowledge of Linux
- Experience with event management
- Experience with the Tivoli Enterprise Portal
- Working knowledge of Netcool/OMNIbus is suggested, but not required.
You should also complete course Tivoli Enterprise Portal Fundamentals (TM021G), prior to attending this course.
