This self-paced course prepares students to work with IBM ILOG CPLEX Optimization Studio.
In this course, students learn the fundamentals of mathematical programming (MP) that are needed to work with CPLEX Studio and its Optimization Programming Language (OPL) and to construct simple optimization models.
Through a combination of instructor-led presentations and lab exercises, students learn the basic MP concepts and terminology necessary to collaborate with operations research experts. Students also work with IBM ILOG CPLEX Optimization Studio and OPL to create an optimization model, and use this model to perform "what-if" analysis.
