In this course, the focus is on monitoring the CICS environment for availability and performance using IBM Tivoli OMEGAMON XE for CICS on z/OS V4.1.0. The OMEGAMON II interface is also shown in examples for solving problems that cannot be addressed with OMEGAMON XE.
Público alvo
This is an intermediate course for Information Technology (IT) specialists who set up a monitoring solution for an Enterprise, or a CICS component within an Enterprise, using OMEGAMON XE for CICS on z/OS.
Pré-requisitos
You should have experience with CICS. Experience with OMEGAMON II for CICS is also recommended. It is assumed that you have completed the prerequisite training in IBM Tivoli Monitoring (ITM) 6.1 since this is the interface used by OMEGAMON XE for CICS on z/OS 4.1.0.
