Cursusbeschrijving: Transition to WebSphere Application Server V8 for Administrators

This two-day instructor-led course introduces you to the new features and standards that are offered and supported in IBM WebSphere Application Server Version 8, Network Deployment (ND).

In this course, you will learn how to install, configure, and maintain IBM WebSphere Application Server V8 Network Deployment, and how to deploy enterprise Java applications. You will also learn how to work with new features in WebSphere Application Server V8, such as flexible management, administrative console extensions, security enhancements, and logging.

Hands-on exercises throughout the course are designed to reinforce lecture content. The lab exercises allow you to gain practical experience with WebSphere Application Server V8 by performing tasks such as installing and assembling applications, using logging capabilities, and implementing administrative security.
