This course is intended to instruct you on the use of TSA (IBM Tivoli System Automation for Multiplatforms) within the IBM Smart Analytics System solution.
This training class provides multiple opportunities for hands-on lab exercises in a Linux VMware virtual image environment for the TSA portion.
You will also learn how to monitor the systems involved in the TSA component.
Finally, some troubleshooting techniques will be addressed.

This advanced course is for system administrators, DBAs, and implementers who are responsible for implementing IBM Tivoli System Automation for Multiplatforms base component within an IBM Smart Analytics System. This might include:

Prerequisites
You should have:
- Experience using relational database elements
- Experience using SQL statements
- DBA duties, such as backing up and restoring a database
- Prior experience administering a Balanced Warehouse system as a DBA or System Administrator
- Experience with UNIX/Linux and Microsoft Windows systems
