This course is intended to instruct you on the use of TSA (IBM Tivoli System Automation for Multiplatforms) within the IBM Smart Analytics System solution.
This training class provides multiple opportunities for hands-on lab exercises in a Linux VMware virtual image environment for the TSA portion.
You will also learn how to monitor the systems involved in the TSA component.
Finally, some troubleshooting techniques will be addressed.

- Customers maintaining an IBM Smart Analytics System implementation
Prerequisites
You should have met the following prerequisites:
- Experience using relational database elements
- Experience using SQL statements
- DBA duties, such as backing up and restoring a database
- Prior experience administering a Balanced Warehouse system as a DBA or System Administrator
- Experience with UNIX/Linux and Microsoft Windows systems
