The successful candidate for the Systems Management Technical certification will have a minimum of five years technical experience in Information Technology, a minimum of two years technical experience with IBM STG servers or storage, and a minimum of one year technical experience with IBM Systems Director.
The successful candidate should have been significantly involved in the implementation of IBM Systems Director in six or more engagements.
The candidate is expected to be able to implement IBM Systems Director and related products as describe in the test objectives without assistance.
The successful candidate is expected to recognize IBM and other products and offerings typically involved customer engagements. These will include both current and typically encountered previous products. These products will be addressed in terms typically used. Total formal names are deliberately not used to ensure candidate familiarity with terms used by customers.
This is a very challenging and critical role. This role requires significant hands on experience. Those without this hands on experience are poor candidates for success.
