New Assessment tests
Assessment tests are provided for most of the IBM Collaboration Solutions certification exams. These assessments, available for the low price of 30 USD (or equivalent), are a diagnostic tool candidates can use to determine whether or not they are ready to sit the actual exam. All assessments have the same number of questions, items to pass and time allowed as the corresponding certification test.

These tests are always written by the same subject matter experts who create the certification exam, using identical competencies. IBM Collaboration Solutions Certification recommends these assessments for anyone who has reviewed the objectives and prepared for the test, but is still unsure about certain areas or would like to get feedback on where their strengths lie prior to taking the certification exam.
There is no need to go to a testing center to take an assessment. Simply select one from the above list or click on the test preparation tab off any exam page and select the "Sample / Assessment test" subtab. Detailed instructions are given on how to access the assessment test via Prime. You can choose to take the test at anytime, anywhere where there is internet connectivity.
