The purchase of the IBM Software Access Option provides you and all active registered contacts in your
company the ability to use the Software Access Catalog, which provides a wide variety of most major IBM software
products on CD for the cost of media plus shipping and handling, or at no charge by download. You can also
access Run Your Business software, which is available for production use in day-to-day Business Partner
operations. Run Your Business software is available for selected IBM software products from Information Management, Lotus,
Tivoli, and WebSphere. Multiple languages are available.
The Software Access Option includes:
- Access to discounted CD versions of IBM software and no-charge downloads through the IBM Software Access Catalog

comprehensive developer assistance covers IBM Power Systems, System i, System p, System z, and
cross-server middleware products and technologies for your application development efforts.
Technical support is for your development systems only and covers:
- AIX; IBM i, i5/OS, OS/400 and their licensed program products; and z/OS
- Cross-server IBM middleware products and technologies and interfaces to a wide
variety of IBM middleware products
We will:
- Assist in identifying software problems on your development system, their causes,
and suggested options to resolve them
- Search for APARs and recommended PTFs related to the problem
- Discuss IBM products with you that could be used when developing your solution
- Identify and help resolve problems related to your application development efforts

Purchase provides access to the benefit for a
12 month period and purchase can be made at any time.
If any authority imposes a duty, tax, levy, or fee, excluding those based on IBM's net income, upon any transaction, then
you agree to pay that amount.
² Single incidents are not available for purchase. Your Authorized Profile Administrator will be
authorized to submit e-mail questions, but may delegate that authority to other
registered users at your Location. Unused incidents within the twelve-month term will
not be refunded. If IBM cannot provide an answer to your question/problem, the inquiry
will not be deducted from your four incidents. In some cases, you may be directed to contact
your country's local support organization if the problem is a defect.
