Building a Dynamic Infrastructure

Portrait of Jim Corgel In today's turbulent global climate, our clients face many uncertainties. Cost and regulatory pressures, a challenging economy, and changing customer needs are just a few of the factors forcing many businesses to reevaluate their plans.

How are clients responding? We've found that many are taking a close look at their internal operations, processes, and infrastructure. They're examining their current way of doing business and evaluating whether or not it will hold up against the market dynamics. Is it flexible? Responsive? Efficient? Unfortunately, many are coming up short.

We think the answer is a Dynamic Infrastructure. A central tenet of our smarter planet agenda, a Dynamic Infrastructure is one that helps improve service, reduce costs and manage risk. Because IT transformation is top of mind for clients, the market opportunity is sizable—it estimated to be worth $122 billion.¹ Together, we can tap into this opportunity. IBM and our Business Partners have the hardware, software, services, and industry expertise to help clients transform their businesses. And in April, we ramped up our offerings in this space to deliver more comprehensive, cost-effective solutions.

We have programs and resources in place to enable you to work with your clients around building a Dynamic Infrastructure. Here's how you can get started:

  • Dynamic Infrastructure resources
Learn more about the strategy and access resources for Business Partners, like client presentations, deliverables, and references. Listen to an overview webcast of the April announcement or access additional training and education.
  • Dynamic Infrastructure Specialty
Qualify for this specialty, designed to equip and support you in expanding your skills and to help you take advantage of accelerating growth in the IT transformation market. You can leverage benefits like business development funds, education assistance, pre-sales technical assistance, and a specialty mark.
  • Dynamic Infrastructure local events
We designed the Business Partner Development Series to help you explore the smarter planet opportunity—delivering high-value solutions that help clients to work smarter and to adapt to changing business conditions and needs—through a focus on Dynamic Infrastructure.

The bottom line is this: in a challenging economic environment, clients are looking to invest in solutions that will quickly deliver a valuable return, make their businesses more efficient, and help them to adapt to change. They want solutions that help reduce cost, better manage risk, and improve service levels. Together, we can deliver. Let get started.

Sincerely,
