Abstract
This 14 unit WebSphere Application Server V7 course starts with a discussion of the product offerings and supported platforms followed by standards support and programming models, including Java EE 5.0, Web Services, and Portlet support. Systems management, Security, development tools, business level applications, and other enhancements are covered. Several of the new components that have been added to the WebSphere V7 offerings, including the secure proxy server for DMZ environments and the new thin client libraries are explained.
