This two hour event has been specifically tailored and organized for an academic audience. The event will be hosted primarily from La Gaude, France at 17:00-19:00 (Central European Time), with several IBM sites from around the world joining via video conference. The sites will be available to host your students and university representatives, making this special night a truly international event.
Attendees will hear IBM management talk about the IBM Research Global Technology Outlook and the direction of new technologies, as well as forthcoming trends. There will also be a presentation on Smarter Cities: IBM's vision and strategy and how innovation impacts citizen life, and following a virtual tour of the Global Business Solutions Centre at IBM La Gaude, students will hear about the T-shaped skills that are required to pursue the Smarter Cities strategy.
The evening will conclude with a Question & Answer session, where your students and representatives will have the chance to hear their questions answered by members of IBM's top management. Questions can be posted in advance onto the Smarter Cities Night Facebook page, where you will also find more information about the event - www.facebook.com/SmarterCitiesNight2012
