In this 200+ level technical webcast, we will cover how to:
- Integrate monitoring and provisioning to enable a fully automated, optimized IaaS
- Reduce operational costs for cloud enabled data centers by utilizing a single dashboard to monitor the ‘mange to’ and ‘manage from’ environments
- Automatically monitor new SmartCloud Provisioning services such as compute nodes and storage nodes when they are brought on line
Speakers Bio:
James Pierce has over twenty years of experience in IT Service Management and Delivery, including architecture and design of global solutions spanning Aerospace, Retail, Defense, Finance, and Utility industries. He is currently the IBM Tivoli Solution Architect Council Lead for Cloud Computing.
Marvin Goodman has been with IBM for 12 years, and has 17 years experience in IT, serving roles in quality assurance, software development, acquisition evaluation, market analysis and competitive analysis, before moving into his current product management role. The majority of that time has been spent working with application and infrastructure performance and availability applications, watching the birth of Cloud computing, and gradually progressing along the Cloud maturity ladder.
Sandy Weiss has over two decades of experience in IT service management and has held multiple roles at IBM including Development and Support. Her expertise spans both z/Series and distributed platforms. She is currently focusing on monitoring and cloud solutions for enterprise customers and she is closely interlocked with key accounts helping shape portfolio strategy.
