Description
IBM Cognos BI is a Web product with integrated reporting, analysis, scorecarding, and event management features which forms a foundation for better business and financial decisions. This workshop introduces participants to some of the major features of Cognos BI V10 through presentations and hands-on labs over a 3 day period. Topics covered include:
1) Overview of IBM Cognos BI V10
2) Installation & Configuration
3) Introduction to the following Cognos components:
- Framework Manager
- Business Insight Advanced
- Report Studio
4) Cognos Content administration concepts.
This is an introductory level course targeted towards potential Cognos users who have never used the product before. Some basic knowledge of data warehousing concepts would be beneficial but not mandatory.
