This workshop will be focused on version 8.5 Network Deployment, a brief overview on all WebSphere Application Server editions will be covered. It will provide a high level overview of architecture, suggestions on design topologies and basic knowledge on how to administrate an application server network. Attendees will work directly within the product through hands-on lab. The labs will start by installing the WebSphere Application Server, configure it and securing it. Then attendees will create a static cluster with a webserver and a dynamic cluster with a On Demand Router (ODR). They will use some new feature available in WAS 8.0 and WAS 8.5.
