Description
This course is designed to provide you with a fundamental understanding of business intelligence and how a data warehouse supports the environment. It gives an overview of the mechanisms used to build a data warehouse and covers some analysis techniques such as OLAP and data mining. You will learn about practical methods and techniques to implement the data warehouse, a business intelligence solution, and IBM offerings. Instructor-led demonstrations and hands-on labs will help you to experience IBM offerings.

Prerequisites
You should be familiar with relational database design and relational database management systems in general. Being familiar with entity-relationship modeling and with DB2 on any platform will be helpful, but are not required.
