This hands-on technical workshop provides training on IBM InfoSphere MDM Standard Edition in a classroom setting. Detailed presentations and hands-on labs are included where attendees will gain in-depth knowledge of the product.
This bootcamp walks you through the steps required during implementation to configure the Member Model and Algorithms. You will be installing Workbench to do the configuration then installing the Engine software to create your working environment (Hub). Finally you will be installing Inspector to do some basic Data Remediation and Data Governance.
Business Partners who have the need to establish a registry-style master data implementation with the quickest time to value.
This introduction will provide a strong foundation of the products for your customers to add value to their existing data by providing a 360 degree view of that data.

- Install and configure the core Engine service
- Use of Workbench to create a member model and an identity algorithm
- Overview of the data model and data dictionary
- Data derivation and the tools to derive data
- Generate weights on a new data set
- Performing a Bulk Cross Match (BXM) to generate entities and tasks
- Use of Workbench to perform threshold analysis, entity analysis, and bucket analysis
- Deploy and configure Inspector for Data Stewardship and Data Governance
Prerequisites
- Basic knowledge of the Master Data Management concepts.
- Knowledge of system administration for Windows.
- Experience with installing applications on Windows environments.
- Familiarity with relational database technology and techniques.
