Keener to innovate for the citizen

- Keep sight of the citizen
- Keep sight of the prize
- Keep sight of what is already possible
Public sector organisations need to increase and improve service delivery for citizens – in other words they need to be ‘keener’ to innovate for the citizen. By looking through the eyes of the citizen we can identify what government is doing right and where it needs to improve. We can then help develop and deliver great citizen services, drawing on our experience from the private sector and internationally. IBM is working with clients to help deliver award winning citizen services, where electronic channels have become the customer's first choice. An example of this is the innovative Electronic Vehicle re-Licensing process at the DVLA, developed in partnership with IBM.
To learn more about how IBM helped the DVLA speed drivers through the vehicle licensing process - and other examples of creating real and lasting change - see below.
