SmartCamp is an exclusive networking and mentoring competition aimed at identifying early stage entrepreneurs who are developing business ventures that align with Smarter Planet.
SmartCamp previously held a competition in Dublin, Ireland. Five finalists were selected to attend a one day event to network with 25 leading entrepreneurs, investors and industry experts. One of the finalists was chosen as overall Smart Camp winner. Some of our co-sponsors also offered their own prizes to organizations that impress them in their areas of interest.

Tree Metrics were the unanimous choice by the judges. Their solution for forestry management incorporates the three "I's" of Smarter Planet - Instrumented, Interconnected and Intelligent and they will now enter a three month mentorship program with IBM to help build their business plan develop a joint value proposition.
