A hedge-fund-management company faced the challenge of information silos. Client information was stored in mail files and on shared network drives. It was often duplicated, and mass e-mailing was a tedious process without full audit trails.

SGA Client Relationship Management (CRM) addresses the challenge of consolidating information across the company into a Lotus Notes database that can be both centrally managed and distributed across servers and clients. SGA also customized CRM to model the fund-management business processes of Halcyon Asset Management and to manage mass e-mailing with full audit trails.

By storing all client information in a shared database, the client is able to track contact information, funds, business partners and activities in one location.

The client has processed 50,000 mass e-mails to its clients using SGA’s state-of-the-art customization. SGA’s E-Mail Master product enables the client to easily create a mailing and store only one copy of an attachment, instead of storing one copy for each mailing.

SGA’s solution combines collaborative capabilities in a manner unlike other CRM technology. The client can have threaded discussions about any piece of information with an audit.
