The Treasurer’s Office of Rooks County, KS, needed to protect documents in the event of disaster. Real Vision Imaging (RVI) running on IBM System i 515 Express provided a complete electronic filing solution that captures their documents by scanning and importing them into electronic folders. Documents are then digitized and stored online for 24/7 retrieval.

Electronic documents are backed up daily to tape, and a duplicate copy is kept at a remote location.  The confidence gained from the RVI solution enables the Treasurer’s Office to be more responsive to their constituents.  In addition, the elimination of filing cabinets storing thousands of paper documents reduced floor space, reducing overhead. The Real Vision Imaging solution has proved to be an excellent solution at a very cost effective price.
