Solution overview

Knowledge Systems Incorporated was challenged to find a way to effectively manage and track support requests submitted by its customers and to deliver status information in real time.

One of the most important challenges was to find a solution that allowed Knowledge Systems to keep an archive of all support requests and their corresponding history, including the attachment of business documents that support the resolution of technical issues.

The solution needed to provide the flexibility to extend and customize functionality.

iFactum e-Business Suite Entry Edition from Highweb & Page Group allowed Knowledge Systems to keep track of its customers’ support requests and provided a faster and more cost-effective way to communicate with customers and to deliver real-time information on the status of each request through a browser-based interface.

This particular installation of the iFactum e-Business Suite Entry Edition utilizes the IBM DB2® Express-C database as its data repository.

By being able to track and deliver up-to-date information on customer support requests, Knowledge Systems has increased its ability to better serve its customers and provide them with accurate information in real time.
