IBM® Lotus® Domino® Express software provides e-mail, calendaring, instant messaging and support for a wide range of business applications at a price and ease-of-use designed for small and mid-sized businesses.

By enabling people to share, manage and organize information more efficiently, Lotus Domino Express software helps streamline business processes and enhance information sharing to help save time and money.

Lotus Domino Express offerings are designed for companies with 1,000 employees or fewer and offers cost-effective functionality, simplified licensing, and reduced administration requirements.

Three Lotus Domino Express offerings are now available:

• Lotus Domino Messaging Express is designed to make it faster, easier and less expensive for small and mid-size companies to deploy secure and reliable e-mail, calendaring, discussion forums and team workspaces. Priced per user, Lotus Domino Messaging Express supports a range of client-access types, from simple Web mail and HTML-based messaging to IBM Lotus® Notes® integrated collaboration software or Microsoft Outlook. In addition, users have an IBM Lotus Sametime® Limited Use license, so they can engage in online conversations with their peers in real time, helping to improve responsiveness and reduce e-mail overload.
• Lotus Domino Collaboration Express includes all the capabilities of Lotus Domino Messaging Express and adds the capability to run Lotus Domino applications. Priced per user, Lotus Domino Collaboration Express, provides support for thousands of existing third-party Lotus Domino applications – many of which are designed to support core business processes for small and mid-sized companies spanning a wide variety of industries.
• Lotus Domino Utility Server Express provides virtually unlimited access to Lotus Domino applications developed using IBM Lotus Domino Designer software (licensed separately) or acquired from an independent software vendor. Examples of Lotus Domino applications include: human resources, quality assurance and customer relationship management applications; project tracking; and supply chain and customer support solutions – just to name a few. Priced per Processor Value Unit, Lotus Domino Utility Server Express provides growing businesses the capability to make Lotus Domino applications available to internal or external users as needed – making it an excellent choice for intranet/extranet self-service applications.
